How to Download a PeopleSoft Online Tutorial

In order to complete a PeopleSoft tutorial, you will need to use INTERNET EXPLORER as your browser, NOT Netscape Navigator. Please follow the instructions below:

Open Microsoft Internet Explorer (NOT Netscape Navigator).

Go to http://www.peoplesoft.com/en/us/services/education/preclass/index.html

Under Download Instructions, Click on Download a stand-alone version to your desktop as an alternative to viewing the tutorial online.

Under PeopleSoft Stand-Alone Tutorials, Click on PeopleSoft 7.5 Pre-Class Navigation Tutorial

One of the File Download boxes pictured below will appear. If you have Internet Explorer 4.0, Select Run this program from its current location. Click OK. If you have version 3.0, Select Open it.

A Security Warning box will appear (see below). Click on YES.

The Setup Wizard will pop up. Make sure that you have exited all other applications. Then click Next.

Continue to Click on Next until the Tutorial is installed. Once complete, Click Close to exit setup.

A PeopleSoft Tutorial icon will appear (see below). It is beneficial to copy the icon to your desktop so that you can access it at your convenience.

To copy, Highlight the PeopleSoft Tutorial icon by placing your cursor on it. Right Click on your mouse, Select Copy. Go to your desktop. Right Click your mouse and Select Paste. The PeopleSoft icon will then display on your desktop.

To run the PeopleSoft tutorial, Click the PeopleSoft Icon

Once the screen opens, Click on Tutorial Introduction and read the instructions on navigating within the tutorial.
